My Mother's Day Plans
I can't imagine a better way to spend Mother's Day
I’m excited to share my Mother’s Day plans with you. This year, I will be participating in Y-ME's Race to Empower. I have set a goal of raising at least $500 and invite you to support me, to people touched by breast cancer here and across the country.
Our funds will benefit Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization, providing free-of-charge programs and services to individuals and their loved ones living with the disease. The Y-ME Hotline is at the core of the organization’s mission to ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone. It’s the only 24-hour hotline in the country staffed entirely by trained peer counselors who are breast cancer survivors. I hope you will help me support this important cause.
I believe Y-ME does a great job educating and empowering people touched by breast cancer, and I hope you will make a contribution to my campaign in support of this outstanding organization. The amount is up to you every dollar helps, and I thank you for thinking of me.

Wow!!!
I have more than surpassed my goal with the generosity of so many. "Thank you" seems an awfully small thing to say in the face of such generosity.
There's a week to go before the race. I've received my T-shirt in the mail and I'm feeling excited about traveling up to Chicago. The "girls" and I will be driving up and I'm giddy about an all girls road trip.
Next weekend is gonna rock!
